I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and attended Drake University, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in K–12 Art Education, with minors in Graphic Design and Music. After teaching in Des Moines for eight years, I relocated to Denver in 2022 for a new adventure. At Legacy Options, I teach CTE Digital Media. This is my fifth year here and my thirteenth year teaching overall. I love this community and the incredible people I get to work with every day. Teaching is truly my calling and I’m passionate about empowering my students and creating an environment where they feel comfortable, confident, and free to be themselves. Outside of school, I’m a photographer, food enthusiast, JRPG nerd, and proud cat mom to two. In my free time, you’ll find me going to shows, thrifting, practicing yoga, and watching documentaries.
