I am a Colorado native and proud of it! My husband Mark and I own a home and have a Corgi named Martin. We are expecting our first child this October and are very much looking forward to this wonderful new adventure. In my spare time, I love spending time with friends and loved ones, traveling the world with Mark, and binge-watching our favorite shows. My favorite summer activity is spending time on the lake doing water sports while catching some rays. In the winter months, Mark and I enjoy skiing (him) and snowboarding (me). As an avid sports fan from Colorado, you know I have to represent our home teams — the Denver Broncos and Colorado Avalanche especially!

This will be my 9th year teaching high school math as well as teaching here at Legacy Options High School. I will be teaching Integrated Math 2 and 3 this school year. I believe that our students can do and be anything they aspire to, and I am so honored to be a part of their learning journey. If I can make at least one positive change in my students’ lives, I feel like I am making a difference. Our youth is our future, and they deserve nothing but the best from us. My goal in life has always been to help people, so what better way than to teach and give back to the great young minds who will be running this country in the near future?
